DNF
Steve time trialed 28th fast out of 102 cars. He started in the third Roaring 20's in 10th place and was running seventh when there was a crash in front of him that was unavoidable. Steve went to the back and started to make up some spots when the car started to hesitate and kept him from qualifying well. Later in the the pits he found it to be a fuel pump problem.

As result of the problem he had to start in the C main which would only transfer to the back of the B main. During the parade laps more bad luck found the car as it kept shutting off. After diving into the pits the crew quickly found a problem with the ignition switch that they were able to fix. After leaving the initial lineup, Steve was forced to the rear of the field. After the green, Steve was making some progress until the car over heated. After spitting water out the overflow, Steve retired to the pits and put it on the trailer. Steve commented after the race," it was a shame because when the car would run it was a really fast and good handling car. But then again Atlantic City is one of the hardest racing events out there and you never no what is going to happen. Thanks to my Dad, Pat, Joe, Mike, and Don for all their help. Oh and i cant forget my daughter Sandi who came to watch for her first time. Keep an eye out for her. I am actively looking for a bandalero for her to run at Wall Speedway this year. She has her father's heavy foot and is dying to show those punk ass little boys what she's got. oh and she wants her number to be 88s. how cool is that!"

Pole
28th
Steve was second fast out of 30 cars, not too bad. The top six drew for their starting spots, Steve picked the pole!! In the first 3 laps Steve rocketed into a great lead by about 4 car-lengths. Then the motor let go and he drifted to a stop. 3 wins in a row was too good to be true, but the team had the car to pull it off. Also a bad night for points, as Steve ended up 28th. The team will have some ground to make up now... back to work this Saturday!

WIN
After narrowly avoiding a melee between the leaders, Steve assumed the lead on the restart and neve gave it up. On his way to the checkers he not only helo off the challenges of his brother, but also the current point leader and 2 other competitors. A well deserved win after a long summer.
